Fisherman's Sanctuary

This piece represents something of a departure for me as I'm much more used to painting things within the realms of science fiction and fantasy, and more typically in a style that endeavours to be as photo-real as possible. As such, this proved to be rather liberating to illustrate with its cartoony, children's-book aesthetic and its much more everyday subject matter.
As this represents some of my first forays into this style, please do chime on in and drop me any feedback or criticism that you might have. ^_^
