Mermay 2019

It took a little bit longer than I anticipated due to lots of commission work going on, but here is my entry for this year's Mermay. I was somewhat inspired by the Shape of Water when I imagined a scene where humanity had taken something as wondrous as a real mermaid/merman and put it in an aquarium, and I've done my best to depict this in my painting here.
